Abstract

|
The study aimed to explore predictive factors for non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI) among adults aged 20 to 59. Data collection was conducted at two time points over the course of eight months. The prevalence rate of NSSI was 12.6%. The study variables were analyzed using hierarchical logistic regression analysis. The study variables measured at the first time point, including NSSI, negative emotions, problematic drinking, and childhood abuse, had a significant effect on NSSI that was measured at the second time point, but rumination and attachment anxiety had no significant effect on NSSI. Implications and significance of the study were discussed.
